Autumn: the perfect season to organize your space with a soft touch

Autumn is synonymous with color and freshness. But it's also a season that brings with it winter furnishings, a change in temperature and a change in the pace of life. We take more time to reorganize and redesign our interior spaces. The terraces and gardens that were the focus of our summer activities begin to lose their appeal as the cold sets in. So now is the perfect time to reclaim our spaces.

1| The transition of the seasons

Use this transitional period to gently organize your spaces. Start by putting away seasonal summer items that will no longer be in use. This will allow you to declutter and prepare your spaces for the fall elements that will make them warm and inviting.

2| Declutter and prepare the space

Before you begin any reorganization process, take the time to declutter your environment. Although it may seem a little daunting at first, it's crucial not to neglect this step. Dedicate yourself to sorting and putting away superfluous objects to create a space conducive to organization. Autumn is the perfect time to get rid of things you no longer need and prepare your space for the new season.

3| Create inviting environments

In terms of design, heavier textiles and soft cushions can definitely add a touch of comfort to your sofas and armchairs. Shades of autumnal nature, such as reds, oranges and browns, will bring a warm, cosy ambience to every corner of your home.

As the days grow shorter, we pay particular attention to lighting, seeking to maximize natural light during the day and create soothing atmospheres in the evening. Thicker curtains and cozy rugs also help to keep the warmth in and create a cocooned feeling.

By reorganizing our interior spaces at this time of year, we adapt to the changes outside while creating environments that promote well-being and tranquility, inviting us to take full advantage of all that autumn has to offer.

4| Taking care of yourself, just like every room in your house

Reconnect with your home, re-evaluate your needs as they are constantly changing over time, and most IMPORTANT of all, stay as minimalist as possible so you don't become overwhelmed by your spaces. Taking the time to reorganize and rediscover your space allows you to feel more in harmony with your home environment. You can make small changes that make your home more comfortable and functional for the coming season.
